- What is Feluda? Feluda is a desktop application for designing, running, and managing AI-powered workflows — all on your own machine. Connect to any AI provider, build multi-step automations visually, and run them with one click. Your data and API keys stay on your device.
- What platforms does it run on? Windows, Linux, and macOS. Download it here.
- Do I need a cloud account? No. You can use local AI models via Ollama or LM Studio with no API key or internet connection required.
- How can we work with Feluda.ai? We offer advisory, pilots, integration work, and training via our Academy. Use the Academy or Contact pages to start a conversation.
Plans & Pricing
- What plans are available? Free, Explorer, Creator, and Visionary. All plans include Studio, Workbench, RunFlows, Journal, and the built-in MCP server.
- What do paid plans add? Higher tiers unlock custom AI providers, custom MCP servers, and more tools per session (up to unlimited on Visionary).
- Where do I subscribe? Visit the Subscribe page to compare and choose a plan.
- How do credits work? Credits are used to purchase Genes from the store. See the Credits guide for details.
Prompt Engineering
- Do you help with prompt design? Yes — we provide patterns, templates, and testing guidance to make prompts robust and deterministic for production use.
- Can prompts be versioned? Yes — when prompts are packaged Genes they are versioned.
Audit Flows & Governance
- What audit data do you capture? We capture inputs, outputs, decisions, timestamps and metadata necessary to reproduce runs and support post-hoc review.
- Is user data stored safely? We follow best practices for credentials and storage; production deployments can push logs to your own observability stack. Contact us to discuss retention and compliance needs.
Genes
- What is a Gene? A Gene is an installable package that bundles tools, prompt templates, resources, and ready-made flows. Install a Gene and you instantly gain new capabilities in the Workbench, Studio, and RunFlows.
- How do I get Genes? Browse and purchase Genes in the Store. After purchase, synchronise your device to download them. Free Genes are also available.

Payments, Credits & Gifts
- How do credits work? Credits are used to purchase Genes or services. See the Credits page for credit options.
- Can I gift credits? Yes — use the gift flow to purchase and send credits to recipients; we validate recipients to avoid self-sends.
Technical & Account
- Login / OAuth emails — we send welcome/login emails via Postmark. Check your spam folder if you don't receive them and contact us if problems persist.
- Where can I see receipts? PayPal and credit receipts are available under Account → Purchase History.
